Uninstall EnneadTab

Removing EnneadTab has two parts. The OS UnInstaller clears the Windows side (folders, background helpers, scheduled tasks, and the Revit registration). The in-Rhino Uninstall button clears the Rhino side (toolbars, search paths, aliases, startup scripts), because those live inside Rhino's own settings and can only be removed from within Rhino.

Revit + system

Get the uninstaller one of two ways:

Download from GitHub
Downloaded from GitHub? Windows marks files from the internet as blocked. Before running it, right-click EnneadTab_OS_UnInstaller.exe → Properties → tick Unblock at the bottom → OK.
Already installed? You can also run it from your existing install folder: C:\Users\[USER_NAME]\Documents\EnneadTab Ecosystem\EA_Dist\Installation\EnneadTab_OS_UnInstaller.exe

    Close Revit, Rhino, and any File Explorer windows open to the EnneadTab folders.

    Double-click EnneadTab_OS_UnInstaller.exe and let it finish.

    If it reports a few files were still in use, restart Windows and run it once more.
What it removes
Install folders
The "EnneadTab Ecosystem" folder in Documents (and its OneDrive copy), plus saved settings under AppData.
Background helpers
Stops EnneadTab's background helpers (updater, cache cleaner, drive reconnect, InfraWatch, etc.). Revit and Rhino are never touched.
Scheduled tasks & startup items
Removes the EnneadTab scheduled tasks and Startup shortcuts so nothing relaunches after a reboot.
Revit registration
Detaches EnneadTab from Revit (clears the pyRevit extension entry). pyRevit itself stays installed.

Rhino only

The OS UnInstaller cannot reach into a running Rhino's settings, so Rhino cleans up its own registrations from inside Rhino.

    Open Rhino.

    On the EnneadTab menu, click Uninstall EnneadTab.
  3. 03
    Confirm when prompted. It will report how many toolbars, search paths, aliases, and startup scripts it removed.

    Restart Rhino for the changes to take effect.
What it removes
Toolbars
Closes every EnneadTab toolbar collection.
Search paths
Removes EnneadTab search paths.
Aliases
Removes EnneadTab command aliases.
Startup scripts
Removes EnneadTab startup scripts.

D.02Good to know

  • pyRevit stays installed — only EnneadTab is removed from it.
  • Your project files are safe — files on network drives are never changed.
  • If EnneadTab still opens in AutoCAD, remove it from AutoCAD's startup apps manually.
  • Doing a clean reinstall? You do not need to uninstall first — the installer replaces the previous version.
